The Ampaglas Plastics Group has been extruding plastic sheeting since 1973. Although we are well-known as producers of high-quality rigid thermoplastic sheeting, our three subsidiaries has allowed us to produce a wide range of products.

Modek produces transparent roof sheeting, including GRP and Polycarbonate profiled sheets. Modek sheeting is primarily used as cladding and roof lights to enhance natural light, and is specifically designed to withstand harsh sunlight and reduce electricity. Products include the innovative Modek Heatstop and Walk-on GRP.

Ampa Plastics supplies various thermoplastic flat sheets, including ABS, acrylic-capped ABS, HIPS, acrylic, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene and coruplas. The company also manufactures a finished product, Ampadivide, that is used during transportation.

Ampaglas also oversees Simona AG’s sub-Saharan operations.

The company has offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London and neighbouring countries.
