WHEN SILVERTON RADIATORS WANTED LASTING LIGHT IN AN AGGRESSIVE ENVIRONMENT,
THEY CHOSE THE CLEAR VISION OF AMPAGLAS.
The Silverton Radiators factory on the M2 Highway is a Johannesburg
landmark.. The factory, commissioned for Silverton Radiators over 6
years ago, has to withstand an incredibly aggressive environment, both
inside from the corrosive chemicals - and outside from the exhaust fumes
coming off the highway.
The roofing is a combination of industrial roof sheeting and Ampagard®
polycarbonate profile.
According to Manufacturing Director, Ron Chauvet, light throught the
Ampagard Profile floods in , undiminished six years later. " Light
quality has remained excellent since we moved in, which considering
the conditions both inside and out, is a very impressive performance
indeed. Silverton has always had an impressive record with its own products.
We associate with excellence."
South Africa's leading industrial roofing experts specify Ampaglas polycarbonate
products.
WHEN POLCOMP LOOKED FOR A NEW LIGHT IN RELAYING INFORMATION OUTDOORS,
THEY CHOSE THE CLEAR VISION OF AMPAGLAS.
It's difficult to ignore the message PolyComp put across to South Africans
each day.
But, as the countries most advanced designers and manufacturers of LED
and electromagnetic displays, they have very special requirements when
it comes to the materials they use.
PolyComp needed a continuous 9m span of non-reflective silk finish sheeting
that was UV resistant and offered a seamless façade, to fill
one particular display order.
"The response we got from Ampaglas was immediate," says PolyComp
Sales and Marketing Director, Adi Loupo. "Ampaglas met all our
requirements ... and provided a two week turnaround. That's very impressive
service in our experience. What's more, Ampaglas have assured us there
is no limit to the seamless span of extruded sheet they can provide.
We have been hugely impressed with the product and the service."
So the next time a display lights up your thoughts, Ampaglas is very
likely behind it.
